Optical Passives

Harmonic offers a variety of indoor and outdoor devices for use in a passive optical network.

Indoor Passives

HW 1100 - filters, combiners and interleavers for the HLP 1000 platform.

HWM 1100A WDM multiplexer/demultiplexer – used to implement Harmonic’s DWDM solutions, these multiplexers can be used to either multiplex or demultiplex a set of wavelengths on the ITU Grid

HOS 7010 Optical Switch Module - plug-in module for the HLP 4200 broadband platform that facilitates automatic and cost-effective network backup and redundancy capabilities, increasing optical distribution plant reliability and providing for a self-healing network.

HOS 7100 Optical Switch Module - stand-alone 1-RU module utilized in transport of analog content, and is part of the MAXLink™ product family.

HLP/HLS 1000 Optical Splitter Platform and Module - enables a system operator to drive up to eight multiple receivers from a single high-powered transmitter. When used in conjunction with Harmonic’s transmitter families, operators can achieve the industry’s highest efficiency available in a splitter.

HFM 4800 Fiber Management Tray - 1-RU tray with 6 channels for routing fiber from the front of the HLP 4800 platform to the rear of the rack.

DCM 9000 Dispersion Compensation Module - passively reverses the fiber dispersion effects for both digital and analog links, providing increased transmission distances and improved signal quality.

HWM 1100-20D01 1310nm DWDM Multiplexers - designed for use with the PWL 4112S-DXX and the NWM 3100-20D01, this 1310nm solution enables the transportation of up to eight wavelengths over a single fiber.

NWM 3100-20D01 1310 nm DWDM Demultiplexers - Designed for use with the PWL 4112S-DXX and the HWM 1100-20D01, this 1310nm solution enables the transportation of up to eight wavelengths over a single fiber.

SUPRALink™ HWM 1100S-10E01 1550nm DWDM Multiplexers - 1550nm solution allows operators to leverage their existing fiber for significantly more bandwidth, enabling the transportation of up to eight wavelengths over a single fiber.

SUPRALink™ NWM 3100S-10E01 1550nm DWDM Demultiplexers - Designed for use with the SPL 7110S/T-EXX and the HWM 1100S-10E01, this 1550nm solution enables the transportation of up to eight wavelengths over a single fiber.

Outdoor Passives

NWM 3100 Optical Node WDM Multiplexers - used to implement Harmonic’s CWDM and DWDM solutions from the node, these optical multiplexers are designed to combine two or four CWDM or DWDM wavelengths from the ITU grid.

NAD 3100 WDM Optical Add/Drop Multiplexers - series of three-fiber optical multiplexers used to either add or drop one wavelength from the CWDM or DWDM wavelength grid.

NSC/NWC 3000 Optical Node Passives - These optical diplexers are used to combine or separate two optical signals.
