The NRF 3142H Fiber Deep Node is a compact, cost-effective optical node that significantly enhances signal strength at the fiber edges of a hybrid/coax network.

Designed to economically support architectures in which fiber is pushed deep into the network, the Fiber Deep Node can achieve extraordinarily high output levels while maintaining acceptable distortions.

The node can hold two optical receiver modules, the second of which, can be used for fiber redundancy (A/B switching) or delivery of narrowcast services.
