The NRH 3868 housing forms the basis of the PWRBlazer™ Scaleable Node. Each side of the rugged housing is fabricated from die-cast aluminum, and the unit can be strand, wall or pedestal mounted. All bolts on the housing are captive and can be engaged with a 1/2” wrench making the housing exceptionally easy to install and maintain. The bandwidth of the housing extends to 1000 MHz.

The housing holds up to eight optical modules, two power supplies, two node output modules and a status transponder

The housing is available as either unpainted aluminium (NRH 3868) or with a coated white enviromenatal paint (NRH 3868C). The fins are angled, allowing the housing to be mounted either vertically or horizontally. These fins allow the housing to safely dissipate up to 175 W while operating in environments up to 60° C.
