Summary

Course Description:

This eLearning knowledge base provides three different interactive simulation modes on how to monitor, operate and troubleshoot the Spectrum Family environment.

Course Objectives:

At the completion of the lessons, students will learn how to configure and operate the Spectrum video server, navigate the SystemManager user interface, configure players, install and run the ClipTool application, learn how to access the Spectrum video server via a SAMBA connection, monitor alarms and events, perform wink states at the system and component level, shutdown and power up the components of the system, perform firmware upgrades and file system maintenance, and monitor and configure RAID sets.

Course Prerequisites:

Basic understanding of VDCP, ingest of video for playout and record, SAMBA, and networking.
