Summary

Course Description:

This eLearning knowledge base provides three different interactive simulation modes on how to install, configure, and operate Spectrum X ISM environment.

Course Objectives:

At the completion of the lessons, the students will learn how to configure and operate the Spectrum X, navigate the SystemManager user interface, configure players, install the ClipTool, FXTool, and PreviewTool software tools, access the Spectrum X via a Samba connection, monitor alarms and events, change wink states at the system and component level, shutdown and power up the components of the system, perform firmware upgrades and file system maintenance, monitor and configure RAID sets, download, install, and set up the Harmonic Templates and Tools package, and use the Harmonic Template Authoring package for setup and configuration in the Adobe Flash ™® environment.

Course Prerequisites:

Basic understanding of VDCP, ingest of video for playout and record, timelines and playlists, Samba, FTP, general networking, Adobe Flash Professional, Adobe Creative Suite, Flash player, and graphic formats such as .swf, .flv, .mp4, .png, and .bmp (bitmap).
