Summary

Course Description:

This instructor-led course provides an overview of MediaGrid architecture and networking, and covers tasks related to configuring, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Students complete tasks using SystemManager, the MediaGrid system’s administrative hub. Optional topics are included on an as-needed basis.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this training, students will be able to identify and describe the MediaGrid family of products and their hardware components and storage systems, use SystemManager for configuration, monitoring, and maintenance tasks, access MediaGrid via File System Driver or ContentBridge, reboot, shutdown, and power on the system and its components, and perform troubleshooting tasks.

Course Prerequisites:

Basic knowledge of Linux and shell commands, TCP/IP, VLANs, switches, RAID, and server storage.
