Summary

Course Description:

This instructor-led course covers the Harmonic NMX Digital Service Manager where the student will learn how to monitor, operate, and troubleshoot a Harmonic digital video compression system.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this training, students will be able to perform NMX administration, map configuration, navigate and configure the Automation Server application, and perform various redundancy and troubleshooting tasks.

Course Prerequisites:

While no prior knowledge of Harmonic equipment is required for this course, a basic knowledge of networking, including Ethernet, switching, and TCP/IP is recommended. Also, an understanding of MPEG-2 and video processing systems would be helpful. Harmonic strongly recommends you complete a basic networking course prior to attending this course.
