Wharf Hardened Switch

The Wharf switch is a versatile, high-performance router that provides enhanced connectivity for residential broadband, enterprise-class data services and long-range optical transport from outdoor cabinetry.

The multi-purpose device functions as an aggregation point within the network for FTTx applications, business-service internet, backhaul for cell towers and extension of DAA (distributed access architecture) networks that link to cable broadband. It integrates into the Harmonic cOS ecosystem as both a DAA switch (DAAS) and top-of-rack (TOR) switch.

Pier OLT Shelf

Pier is a high-density, energy-efficient OLT shelf that increases the serviceable area of high-speed broadband networks while minimizing building infrastructure requirements.

Its high-power OLT optics enable downlink reach up to 60 kilometers, simplifying the deployment of PON services to underserved and rural communities. Supporting up to 32 XGS PON, 16 Combo PON, or 32 GPON service groups per rack unit, Pier also provides a streamlined evolutionary path from GPON to XGS-PON.
