Fin 10G SFP+ Based OLT

Transform your Ethernet switch ports and DOCSIS DAA devices into an Optical Line Terminal (OLT) for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) applications. You can deploy Fin as an OLT or Remote OLT (R-OLT) for 10G or 10G PON from your central office, hub or from various Harmonic DAA nodes to accelerate to 10G with minimal modifications to your existing network.

Surgically migrate DOCSIS to FTTx with minimal hardware investment thanks to the Fin OLT module deployed in our various DAA devices and nodes. Fin also integrates with the cOS™ Broadband Platform and our virtual Broadband Network Gateway (vBNG) application to leverage a same platform for both DOCSIS and PON technologies.

You can now converge your HFC and FTTH access networks to provide simultaneous services to DOCSIS cable modems and PON Optical Network Units (ONUs) from a same device. 

With Fin, you enable more efficient and sustainable high-speed broadband service delivery to every subscriber you serve. The Fin supports both ITU and IEEE PON standards for interoperability with third-party ONUs to leverage existing infrastructures and streamline your network operations. A single Fin module can handle up to 128 splits and comes in either an I-Temp or E-Temp model for indoor and outdoor deployments.

It gives you the full benefits of a software-based solution with remote configuration capability for XGS PON or 10G EPON deployments. The Fin also has incredibly low power consumption to meet evolving consumption requirements and generate energy savings across your network.
