Petrus was supported from comprehensive evaluation of the cOS Platform and virtualized CMTS software in its lab, from integration to roll out, working hand-in-hand with Harmonic's trusted, local partner Klonex. Thanks to a seamless DOCSIS 3.1 upgrade, Petrus increased its bandwidth capacity to offer a new gigabit service tier to its subscribers.
Petrus was able to unify its legacy and next generation services by placing headend functions closer to the edge for a superior quality of service for subscribers. With the cOS Platform, Petrus now has a common framework to provide even more advanced broadband services going forward.
