SAN JOSE, Calif. — Sept. 24, 2026 — Harmonic (NASDAQ: HLIT) today announced that broadband service provider Lightcurve, serving communities across central and western Washington state, is delivering multi-gigabit services to Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs) over existing coax wiring using Harmonic’s cOS™ virtualized broadband platform. The Harmonic solution enables Lightcurve to offer fiber-like speeds of up to 8 Gbps downstream and 1 Gbps upstream without replacing the buildings’ existing coax wiring. This approach helps Lightcurve strengthen its competitive market positioning and meet subscriber demand for higher speeds while maximizing the value of its network investments.

Lightcurve is advancing its multi-gigabit broadband service strategy through a swift, efficient software upgrade of the cOS Core combined with the deployment of Harmonic’s compact low-power Oyster nodes equipped with Pebble Remote PHY devices in a distributed access architecture (DAA). The cOS virtualized platform supports both DOCSIS and fiber, giving the operator the optionality to evolve its network as customer demand and investment priorities shift.
