The Proview™ 7000 Integrated Receiver and Processing platform provides an ideal solution for digital turnaround processing (DTA), descrambling and decoding operations. The flexible, compact Proview 7000 features several front-ends and optional cards, allowing operators to create a customized solution tailored to their needs, and to later add functions if those needs should change.
Digital turnaround operators typically descramble only selected services of the feeds they receive before
feeding them into a new digital chain with their own CA. The ProView 7000 economically meets their needs
by descrambling multiple services in one or two transport streams using its on-board dual DVB common
interfaces. 
The Proview 7000’s remultiplexing capabilities enable creation of new transport streams that are subsets of
the original stream. Programs may be output as SPTSs or MPTS over IP, as well as over ASI
Harmonic’s ProView 7000 is also a professional receiver decoder that is specifically designed for high-end
contribution and distribution applications. The unit features a broadcast quality decoder for MPEG-2 and
MPEG-4 AVC in both Standard Definition and High Definition formats, and provides a variety of inputs that
ensure compatibility with all transmission media.
The Proview 7000 is equipped with industry standard digital and analog outputs, including analog video
and audio, AES/EBU, SD-SDI and HD-SDI. The unit also performs HD down-conversion and aspect ratio
adaptation of HD programs to generate professional quality baseband analog video and audio outputs for
easy integration with existing cable network infrastructure.
The ProView 7000 platform features up to 2 DVB-S/S2 or 8VSB inputs, ASI and IP outputs with TS descrambling,
professional decoding and re-multiplexing. This all-in-one architecture makes the ProView 7000 a compact
and cost effective receiver that reduces system costs as well as complexity.
